Happy Halloween

The Incredibles Baby CostumeHappy Halloween!

We had a great Halloween! I decided to make a last minute costume. I saw this idea online and had most everything to make it. I bought some felt, used a guide online for the pattern, and glued it on this red onesie I already had, and voila!

He wasn’t a big fan of the mask but he put it on for a few pictures.

I went to his daycare in the afternoon for his classroom party, then we went to Nokia where they had trick or treaters coming in. We didn’t trick or treat but we had fun going around and visiting allt he people that mommy works with. And then we went to visit daddy at his work, and Connor showed off his costume there. He was quite a hit!

For those of you who don’t know he is Jack Jack from the Disney movie The Incredibles. If you haven’t seen it, you should! It’s an adorable movie!

Now, what to do for next year’s costume….

Bathtime

Bathtime Splashing

Connor is such a hoot in the bathtub!! He goes all out splashing with his arms and his legs at the same time. I got my camera out to take a few pictures and he just happened to splash himself in the face pretty good while I was snapping. The result was the most adorable face I think I’ve ever seen!! Oh, how I love this little guy.

Completed Belly Collage

Now that he’s here my belly collage is complete! I love the way it turned out! It was a lot of work but I’m really glad that I took the time to take a picture every week and put them together to make this. I love seeing the change from week to week. Looking back on the first few photos, those seem like they were so long ago! The last image though is defnitely my favorite. 🙂

39 weeks

I can’t believe it’s about time to meet baby A! We just finished up our 39th week, and he is apparently very comfy in there because he does not want to come out! Things are slowly progressing though, so I don’t see it being too much longer until he makes his big debut. Our 39 week appointment went well, he’s still doing great. They reviewed the ultrasound results with us too. Everything looks great! They’re estimating him to be about 7 lbs and he’s in the 55th percentile for weight.

We have spent the week getting things ready in his nursery. All of his little clothes are washed, folded and put away. His crib is ready, and I have a little area to sit and rock him. I will post pictures of his room soon!

My next post hopefully will be introducing him to you!!

39 week Ultrasound

Here are some pictures from our 39 week ultrasound. They wanted to check on his growth since my belly hasn’t grown much the last few weeks and my weight has been pretty stable. But all looks good and he’s doing just great!

36 & 37 weeks

36 weeks:
This week we finished our last lamaze class! It’s so surreal to be done with a class that felt so far away when we were signing up for classes. We are in the home stretch! Our weekly appointment was good, he’s measuring about 2 weeks behind but my weight gain is good so they’re not worried. His heart rate was 128 today, a bit lower than normal but he was probably sleeping. I had a small baby shower with some girlfriends. We had a great time telling labor stories and eating dessert at Nichole’s Fine Pastries. (One of my favorite dessert places! And of course lamb’s too).

37 weeks:

Officially full term! Baby A can make his arrival any time now! We had prenatal yoga this week, and all of the girls that I started out class with have all had their babies now. It’s a whole new group of moms that are around 20 weeks. I was the furthest along out of the whole class, which has never happened before! I’ll try and get to one more class before he comes, hopefully I won’t deliver before then. The weekly checkup went great. My belly is measuring 35 weeks, heart rate is 140, and he is still head down. She is still predicting him to be about 6.5 lbs when he arrives.
